You will research the myths surrounding one of the less-known constellations.

Bernard of Chartres is credited in the 12th century with saying that “we stand on the shoulders of giants.” Even for the seemingly-simple topic of constellations and mythology, this is true. For this generated not only interest and research about the heavens and the science of astronomy but stoked the imagination.

You will research the myths surrounding one of the less-known constellations. Do not include any of the Zodiacal constellations, or better-known constellations such as Orion, Ursa Major, and Canis Major. Many Southern hemisphere constellations provide great opportunities for less-known constellations.

Use a minimum of two (2) different references about your chosen constellation. Compose an original paper of 200 words about your chosen topic. List your references in a standard format. If you cut and paste a quote, provide the proper credit. Once completed, upload your overview above.
