Imagine that you were in the audience at Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, knowing that you had lost a loved one. Ignoring the lengthy speech given by Ambassador Everett, what would your review of Lincoln’s speech be? Was the speech meaningful despite its short length? Do you feel the words carry adequate meaning to honor your loved one’s “last full measure of devotion” to the cause of liberty and preserving the nation?

This assignment does not need to be in APA. The assignment length is two paragraphs and, since these are your thoughts and sentiments, no citations are necessary as this is coming from your heart / head (unless you use materials beyond the Gettysburg Address).
