With how the United States is right now I do not think the philosophers would agree with the current structure of the government. Our government is full of people that only think about themselves and what they get and not really thinking about the American people. Also the time and era we live in now is very different from when they were alive.

Plato believed that government should be based on virtue and justice, he believed that everyone should be treated the same no matter how much they made, he had plans that he believed could lead to peace.
