Statement of research gapes or unanswered questions essay

1-3 pages double spaced

It is a short essay that reflects on your literature review and informs the reader what issues or angles on the topic could use additional research and why or of question that remain unanswered after having conducted a literature review.

Organization of the paper 

In this assignment you will describe the topic on which you wrote your literature review ( Facebook’s impact on advertising). You will then state what further research might be appropriate on the topic or what question have opened for you as a result of having researched this topic. 

*Introduction paragraph (1 paragraph)

In this paragraph you will explain the topic which you researched. The final sentence will be a thesis statement arguing for further research in a specific area(s).

*The Body section of (2-4 paragraphs) would describe any one of, or a combination of, the following:

– gaps you saw in the research 

– areas in which further research could be conducted that would shed more light on an issue

– new questions that opened up for as you read the current literature on your topic

*Conclusion 

In one paragraph, summarize your points in the body section. state what needs further search and why.
