Drafting Your Short Story: It is now time to write and submit the first draft of your story. Before you submit it, be sure to review the rubric below to ensure that you have included all of the required components. In addition, be sure to title your story. Although I don’t expect your story to be perfect at this point, I would like you to proofread it for spelling, grammar, and clarity errors! If you’d like, you may even ask a parent or friend to proofread it for you! The following rubric will be used to evaluate your rough draft. (85 points)
