For the Course Project, you are asked to develop a training manual for

staff development on a selected topic below. The foundation of the

assignment will be to simulate the health information technology (HIT)

responsibilities in training and educating personnel on a health

information management (HIM) topic, specifically educating

organizational personnel of the legal and ethical aspects of the topic

selected. While ideally training would be live and in person, many

healthcare professionals do not have that ability, and therefore would

be reading the manual upon being a new hire, periodic mandatory

training, and/or or new regulations or legislation that must be complied

with.
