Human Geography Assignment Paper
Will be based on the
five main themes/ topics of human geography
Five Themes (broad definition provided in parenthesis below)
- Location (highlights how the geographical position of peoople and things on Earth’s surface affects what happens and why)
- Human-Environment (Altering the physical environment of a land such as draining part of the Everglades in Florida)
- Region (Features tend to be concentrated in particular areas, which are called regions)
- Place (All places on the surface of Earth have unique human and physical characteristics that develops a sense place infusing a place with meaning and emotion)
- Movement (refers to the mobility of people, goods, and ideas across the surface of the planet)
