Developmental Characteristics

Using information from Chapter 7 of your text, describe how the developmental characteristics of children from birth through age two help shape the nature of stories for infants.  Select two picture books that are not described in this chapter and evaluate their appropriateness for this age and developmental level.  Make sure that each selection falls under a different category (wordless, counting, etc.) of this format.
