I wrote an essay and I wants to correct any grammar, punctuation, word choice and verb tense mistakes.

Bader don’t drive fast drive in the speed limit. That was my friend Majid words 15 minutes before a police car stopped me. I was driving 62 MPH in 35 MPH speed limit road. This was my first time the police stopped me. I parked in the right line in the road and waiting for the police officer to come. A white young police officer got off his car and coming towards me. He knocked the driver windows and with my shaking hand, I opened the window. “Hey friend, do you know how your speed was?” with a smile on his face, I told him that I was going around 40 MPH, and he start laughing and said to me “No it was 62 MPH. He asked to give him my driver license and the car registration. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a driver license; I gave him my country’s driver license. He looked at me and said: “friend you are in serious trouble”. Three minutes later four police cars came and surrounded me, at that moment I almost lost my control and my body stat shaking really hard. I heard him discuss with his partners what they going to do with me; few minutes later he came and told me that I have two options. The first option is going to the jail; and the second one is bring someone with American driver license. I told him that I don’t know anyone have American driver license. He came to me and whisper. He told me that the worst place ever you will see it in your life is the prison. I started search in my contacts and saw Abo Omer. I remembered he has an American driver license and I called him. I explained to him my situation and he came as soon as possible he could. Abo Omer he is the owner of a hookah bar and I came daily to his bar. Abo Omer talked to the police officer and convinced to release me. Of course the police officer gives to me two fines. One for driving fast and the other is for not have a license. Their total is 830 dollars and also I have to go to the court. The court date is after two weeks and the officer told me if I bring to him an American driver license he will help me in the court. After three days I went to the DMV and I passed their exams. Now I have an American driver license and I was ready for the court. In the week before the court date; South Carolina has been flooded because of the heavy rains. In the court day, I woke up early and went to the court. The court was closed because the flood but I didn’t know. I waited for the court opening but it’s become too late. My trial supposed to start at 8 AM; I checked the time and it’s was 7:50, only 10 minutes before the trial start and the court still closed.

I saw a police officer and I asked him why the court still closed. He told me that the court has been moved to other location. It just ten minutes before my trial start; my heart started beating so hard and my breath was fast. I asked the officer where the new location of the court is. Fortunately, the new location wasn’t far. I operated the car and drive very fast to the court. I found the court and the time was 8:12. I entered the court waited few minutes before they called my name. An old white judge looked at me and said: “confess”. I said: “I am guilty” and when he took my file the police officer stopped the judge and told him that he promised me if I gets an American driver license he will help me.

The judge asked me if I have one; I showed him my license and he reduce the fines from 830 to 560 dollars and instead 6 point to 4 point. He said a lot of things I can’t remember and finally he asked me if I have any last word. I told him how I am so sorry and I was stupid and reckless driver, he took my file again and reduced the fines to 310 dollars. After the court every time I wants to drive fast I remember what the problems am going to have if the police catch me.
