Collaborating with Teachers

As your school site’s media specialist, your principal has asked you to partner with a classroom teacher to develop a unit of study on a curricular topic.  Referencing your textbook and at least one additional resource, share two strategies you might employ to form an effective collaborative partnership.  What preconceived ideas about your role may you have to address with the classroom teacher to make the partnership successful?
