Analysis paper

For this paper you will choose one of the texts that we have read up to this point in the semester and make a claim about how the author uses certain elements in the story to create meaning. This claim will be your thesis, and it will guide your analysis of several quoted passages from the story upon which you will focus. Your analysis of these quotes will be a direct engagement with the author’s own words.

All papers are to be typed, double-spaced, with 12-point type (Times New Roman or similar); with one-inch margins all around; no extra spaces between paragraphs; and page numbers in the upper right-hand corner of each page. Please use MLA guidelines for all citations and paper formatting.
