Conducting a Learner Analysis
You will continue working on your instructional analysis for the Final Project using your imagined organization. In the Week Two assignment, you conducted an analysis of the learning need and context within your imagined organization. In this Week Three assignment, you will analyze the learners in your imagined organization who would benefit from the training or instruction offered to meet the learning need you identified in Week Two.
You will probably need to use resources in addition to the Smith and Ragan (2005) text to gather additional information about your imagined learners. Identify and describe relevant professional associations that might have data about their general membership or other sources, such as the Occupational Outlook Handbook of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Be sure to clarify how each piece of information you report might be used to guide the design of the instruction.
Write in complete sentences in paragraph form. Include an introduction with a thesis statement and a conclusion that summarizes your main points. You must use at least one scholarly source in addition to the course text. Cite all sources of information you use in the analysis.
The assignment should be formatted according to APA style and be at least three but no more than five pages, not including the title and reference pages.
