Some women who have mitochondrial diseases still want children, however, they will pass on their mitochondrial disease to any offspring they have. Three Parent In-Vitro-Fertilization is a method that allows for these women to have biological children of their own. If this procedure was done, would the offspring have characteristics of three parents? Explain your position is on this procedure using scientific evidence
