Why did you choose UMBC?​

The paper should answer the question Why did you choose UMBC? First, you can talk about how the school’s reputation about being heavy on STEM is one of the reasons. I wanted a school that was more academically rigorous and UMBC fit under the category I was looking for. Besides that, UMBC has a lot of research and internship opportunities which is my other reason. Finally, it’s the diversity and I used to hear that a lot of students at UMBC really do want to excel in school and that’s just the type of people I wanted to be surrounded by. It has to be 200 words.
