Apply your critical thinking skills by creating a pro or con argument about a controversial topic.
INSTRUCTIONS: Read theFallacious Arguments Handout
and theSample Argument Document. Then, think of a controversial topic from recent news and create an argument in favor or against some action related to the topic. Be sure to avoid using any fallacious arguments (refer to the handout). Use at least three factual statements to support your view, and in your conclusion, list an opposing viewpoint and provide a counter response to it.
Your assignment should be organized as a paragraph. Proofread.
