Trade Policies and Products you buy

Reflect on some bigger products that you have purchased in the past year that were manufactured by a company in another country. With this in mind, write a 1-2 page paper that addresses the following:

• Do you think the U.S. has a trade policy in place that promotes the importing of this product, or do you feel there were barriers for foreign governments and companies to get these products exported into our country?
• Are there any U.S industries that need “protectionist” polices put in place to protect the industry and products they produce/manufacture? Explain
