Social Responsibility

1. Should a corporation have a social responsibility? Research the pros and cons of this issue. Consider especially Nobel Prize winner Milton Friedman’s famous essay (http://www.umich.edu/~thecore/doc/Friedman.pdf), “The Social Responsibility of Business is to Increase its Profits,” and the many responses to it that present alternate views.
