DRA010 UC Davis Exposure of an Actor Drama Reading Reflection

Read everything from the Introduction through the end of Chapter 7 in A Practical Handbook for the Actor.

Then choose one of the scenes published in Files and write a scene analysis based on the process for analyzing senes presented in the text. You may choose to write your analysis on either the scene from the play Exposure starting on page 68 (boys hotel room), or the scene from the play Nation of Two that is titled “The Roots of the Oak” and starts on page 85. Keep in mind that in order to do an analysis of a scene taken from a play, you have to read the whole play. Otherwise, you simply won’t have the context for what’s happening in that scene.
